On-grid solar power systems generate power using a solar power system and are directly connected to the utility power grid. These systems send excess power generated by the solar power system to the utility grid and consumers get compensated for the extra power fed back. On-grid systems are installed to reduce the bill. It only works when grid is available.
Off-grid systems work independently of the grid but have batteries which can store the solar power generated by the system. The system usually consists of solar panels, battery, solar inverter, mounting structure and balance of systems. The batteries store sunlight during the day and use the excess power generated in the night. These systems are suitable where frequent or long power cuts.
Hybrid solar systems have both on-grid and off-grid capabilities, allowing you to continue running on solar power even if the grid goes dark. With a hybrid solar system, however, the electricity is routed to a hybrid inverter and battery. Once the battery is full, the excess is channeled through a smart meter to the grid’s power lines. This allows the homeowner to retain a portion of the electricity, which can help power the home not only during overcast days or the night but also if there is an energy blackout.
Our experienced engineering team has served projects of many sizes - ranging from 8KW on-grid systems in Jaipur to 125KW systems for the Hisar railway station.
